WristAid

This project was developed at the Coding Austria 2023 hackathon with 3 friends. The challenge we choose from the Austrian Red Cross had the aim to improve communication between first-aid workers during loud events like concerts or festivals.

Our approach was, to develop an Apple Watch app that uses the built-in microphone to record the voice of the first-aid worker and send it to a server. The server then uses the OpenAI Whisper API to transcribe the voice to text and sends it to all other paramedics. My main focus was the development of the smartwatch app.
