I’m Felix, a developer from Austria. I’m self-employed through daugt e.U. and build web platforms, content systems and commerce projects. Most of my freelance work is with Agravity, where I work as part of their team.

Making things

I like connecting software to the physical world: sensors, electronics and the small pieces that make a system work together. Trailsense is one of those projects, bringing sensor hardware and a web dashboard together. Rust is one of the tools I enjoy working with.

I also really love maps. I’m fascinated by technology like PMTiles and MapLibre, and I love experimenting with them. Open data is another thing I care about, especially around public transport and its infrastructure. I enjoy digging into that kind of data and seeing what it can show.

AI has become part of how I work, and I’m still figuring out what I think about it. I don’t know where it takes me or my role, and I’m uneasy about the structures behind the big models. I’ll keep updating this as my thinking changes. Read the note.

Study and community

I’m studying MultiMediaTechnology (Web) in the master’s programme at FH Salzburg, and I’m part of the chair team at ÖH FH Salzburg.

The van

I’m converting my white Ford Transit into a camper, and I’m already quite far along. I enjoy figuring out how it all fits together, from the layout to the electrical system. I’d like to share notes about the build here later on.

Outside the computer screen

I’m also into films, cycling, skiing and the gym. You can find what I’ve been watching on IMDb.
